Diploma in Pharmacy

Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) is a foundational pharmaceutical program designed to prepare students for entry-level roles in the pharmacy and healthcare sector. The course focuses on core subjects such as pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, hospital pharmacy, and drug store management. Students receive theoretical knowledge along with practical laboratory training and hospital exposure to understand drug formulation, dispensing, and patient counselling. The program is regulated by the Pharmacy Council of India, ensuring standardized education and eligibility for pharmacist registration. After completing D.Pharm and registering with the State Pharmacy Council, graduates can legally open and operate a medical store or work as licensed pharmacists in hospitals and retail pharmacies.
